Alexis holds a Master in New Technology public law from Paris 10 university. He served as E-Governance specialist for the United Nations. He participated in the World Summit on the Information Society in 2003 and 2005. He joined RWE Switzerland in 2008, an energy trading company, as one of the managers of the Back-Office. He also joined the Pirate Party of Switzerland to promote a human-centric and distributed approach of a technological society. Since 2013, he is the President of the Pirate Party of Switzerland. He is the co-founder of the bitcoin financial service SBEX SA. He is also board member of the Digital Finance Compliance Association.
