Event – Domain pulse – Lausanne 01.02-02.02.2016

Domain pulse will be held in the French-speaking part of Switzerland for the first time in 2016.

This event is the annual conference for the German-language top-level domains .ch (Switzerland), .de (Germany) and .at (Austria). It has been held each year since 2004 in one of the three countries, hosted by the respective registries SWITCH, denic and nic.at. It is SWITCH’s turn again this year as the registry for .ch.

The programme offers some interesting and even controversial content.

The focus of the first day is on Internet security.
Top security expert Mikko Hyppönen will give a talk on the current threat situation, and Hannes Grassegger will explain why we are all “digital serfs” these days.

On the second day, managers from Denic, nic.at and SWITCH will answer questions from hosting providers and registrars in the panel discussion “Registries in the Arena”, and renowned Internet governance specialists will shed light on the latest trends.

We look forward to seeing you in Lausanne – à bientôt!
