SUMMARY:Veille & IA
\n\nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram

\n\n\n\nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram

SUMMARY:C4DT Conference on Cyberattack Reporting Obligation
DESCRIPTION:The Federal Council described cyberattacks as “a serious threat for Switzerland’s security and economy” and proposed a law for a reporting obligation for cyberattacks on critical infrastructures in its press release of January 12th 2022. These reports should allow the National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) to assess the threat situation early on\, to provide support and to warn other critical infrastructure operators at an early stage. \n\n\n\nThis 1-day conference will bring together government\, public and private sectors and academia to discuss the proposed reporting obligation: who will be concerned by this law\, and how they will be impacted. Through case studies of past cyberattacks in Switzerland and simulations of possible critical infrastructure attacks\, we aim to raise awareness of the cyber-risks with communal\, cantonal and federal authorities\, critical infrastructure providers as well as all organisations impacted by this law.\n\n\nThe onsite event is by invitation only. However\, it will be streamed live via Zoom. To obtain your Zoom link for the webinar please click below to register. Registration is free but mandatory.\nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram

SUMMARY:Swissintell Webinar 28.06.2021 - AI methods for Competitive Intelligence in Switzerland with Richard Lemaire
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION ON INFOMANIAK \n\n\n\n18 minutes\, this is the time Netflix users spend to choose a movie. 11 minutes\, this is the time to do an average search on google. Growth of information availability is diluting the revelant information we are looking for. However\, intelligence needs for decision makers are dramatic in an ever shifting blue ocean. Fact is\, competitive intelligence needs are unique on per user basis. Furthermore the existing intelligence professional tools require an expert to master them. \n\n\n\nThe objective of this presentation is to show how we (1) embedded AI to tackle the issue of bringing in-the-target information for each one of our users and (2) optimize UX to place end-user in the center of its intelligence harvesting. NiiWaa’s capabality stem from the linking of 3 technological bricks (AI\, User interface\, web scrapping) used independantly by alternate intelligence platforms. An interactive-educational loop direclty is owned by information end-user enables our alogrithm to tune its search case by case. This method allows extension of research range (by validating or infirming words newly identified) whilst narrowing down the final results : relevant information. This session will be articulated around a tool-demonstration on a actual topic. \n\n\n\nThis Webinar will be presented by Richard Lemaire\, CEO of Aprobase and founder of the NiiWaa solution\, Richard is an Entrepreneur\, an innovation actor and discovery enthousiast. After years of use of Aprobase’s services he takes over the company in 2015 and immediately starts the processes’ digitalization. Through his years as intelligence specialist he witnesses the lack of direct intelligence solutions for decision makers : market available solutions need to be operated by intelligence specialists. He translates his beliefs of the intelligence unicity needs into NiiWaa\, an in-house algorithm that he is now pushing to the market. \n\n\n\nThroughout his career he patented 2 inventions and created another company. On-the-field actor\, he held several positions in the States\, Canada and Western Africa in the mining and energy sector. Human-oriented\, he supports NGOs and takes part in other human entreprises. He is also a former board member of Swissintell. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION ON INFOMANIAK \n\n\n\nA link to access the webinar will be sent to the participants the day of the webinar. \nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram

SUMMARY:ETH Risk Center - New National Disaster Risk Assessment in Switzerland: What's New\, What's Different?
DESCRIPTION:New National Disaster Risk Assessment in Switzerland: What’s New\, What’s Different?\nDr. Stefan Brem | Federal Office for Civill Protection\, Bern\, Switzerland \nAbstract\nThe national disaster risk assessment “Disasters and Emergencies in Switzerland” (DES) analyses a broad spectrum of hazards relevant to civil protection and disaster management in Switzerland. The fundamental stages of an integrated risk assessment process include identifying relevant hazards\, developing scenarios\, assessing risks\, and launching a risk dialogue with decision-makers and the broader public. Risk assessment is a continuous process because the risk landscape is constantly changing. The national risk assessment is therefore updated periodically: The Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP) published its first risk report in 2013 and the next one in July 2015.\nIn light of this\, all DES products were reviewed and updated in the third round of analysis between 2017 and 2020: The risk assessment method has been further refined. The 33 hazard dossiers have been reviewed and complemented by 11 additional ones. All hazard scenarios for deliberate events (e.g. terrorist attack\, cyber attack\, unrest) have been assessed using a new plausibility method. In this talk\, I will provide background information on this assessment process and insights on how this process has developed and how the results are used. \nDr. Stefan Brem | Federal Office for Civill Protection\, Bern\, Switzerland\nSince 2007\, Dr. Stefan Brem leads the section Risk Analysis and Research Coordination at the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP). Since October 2020\, he is also the Chief Risk Officer of the FOCP\, and responsible for its strategic risk management. His section implements the national strategy on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and undertakes risk and vulnerability assessments in critical sub-sectors based on the national strategy on the protection of Switzerland against cyber risks. Under Stefan\, the section conducts a national disaster risk assessment using an all-hazard approach\, including a comprehensive hazard catalogue\, hazard files\, impact and risk diagrams. It supports the Cantons (constituent states) with their civil protection-related risk assessments and preparedness planning.

SUMMARY:Swissintell Webinar with Morand H. Fachot - Effective Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Business Intelligence (BI) in the Context of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Will the Human Factor Remain Essential ?
DESCRIPTION:Become a member now and discover all membership benefits such as free access to all our webinars and events in Zurich and Geneva ! \nREGISTRATION ON INFOMANIAK \nWebinar organized by Swissintell in collaboration with Morand H. Fachot\, Journalist and Independent Contractor – Effective Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Business Intelligence (BI) in the Context of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Will the Human Factor Remain Essential ? \nIn spite of major and continuous technological advances\, the human dimension will remain central to effective OSINT and Business Intelligence for the foreseeable future. Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) having played a central role in intelligence gathering for decades is more and more used for Business Intelligence (BI). No longer relying only on traditional sources\, both trawl a wider range of sources from the web. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will boost OSINT and BI effectiveness. Yet the human dimension and traditional sources will remain central to effective OSINT and BI. Perspectives and testimony of Morand Fachot. \nMorand H. Fachot\, studied Economics and Political Science\, graduating in International Relations (Sciences Po Paris). He is a journalist and Independent Contractor working on geopolitical and media issues for BBC Monitoring (BBCM). He is also a media analyst and technology writer covering a wide range of issues for international organisations and outlets. After 11 years working for the British administration in Berlin\, he joined BBCM in Caversham\, Berkshire\, in 1991. His main task was to select news on geopolitical\, defence\, science and technology\, business and other issues\, pick and edit content of interest to the BBC and to government and other customers. Joining the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva in 2002 he was involved in BI covering the broadcast industry. He later worked for the International Electrotechnical Commission researching and writing on technology. \nFacilitation : Christopher H. Cordey\, futuratinow \nThe event will be held on Zoom. SUMMARY:Conference on “Manipulating Elections in Cyberspace: Are Democracies in Danger?”
DESCRIPTION:Increasingly\, reports warn that state-sponsored actors use social media to spread fake news/disinformation in order to sow distrust and create panic during pandemics and create discord and polarized opinions among people on political issues during democratic elections. Adding to this\, social media platforms’ algorithms “add salt to the wound” by feeding their users posts which are aligned with their opinion in order to increase their screen time. How serious and how massive is the problem? What are its implications? And what can/should be done about it? \nDuring this forum\, organized jointly by EPFL’s Center for Digital Trust (C4DT)\, the CyberPeace Institute and the Graduate Institute’s Centre for Trade and Economic Integration (CTEI) in Geneva\, we will discuss not only the technological aspects of this phenomena\, but also the regulatory role executive and legislative branches of governments should play. Societal\, economical and geopolitical implications will also be debated. \nFor more information and agenda please click here \nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram

SUMMARY:SCIP - Sales Battlecards
DESCRIPTION:Sales battlecards are one of the most important competitive intelligence deliverables because they clearly articulate a value proposition\, help a firm win business\, and show CI value in a demonstrable and measurable way. However\, Sirius Decisions and IDC have independently shown that as much as 80% of marketing content sits unused by Sales\, including battlecards. A few symptoms of a sub-par battlecard program: \nOutdated Format – Too many battlecards are two-page\, static PowerPoint slides that are generic\, static\, and outdated.\nFocused on the Wrong Thing – Many battlecards focus on features and benefits\, rather than how to solve buyers’ problems.\nPoor Adoption – Sales won’t use marketing collateral that is off-base\, too general\, or just not relevant.\nOrganizational Misalignment – Many companies don’t have clear ownership of battlecards\, so the opportunity falls through the cracks of the org chart. \nInsufficient Communication –  Even the best battlecard is useless unless it’s being used in the right way at the right point in the sales cycle. There’s a better way.  This virtual workshop will show you how to design a better battlecards strategy and program\, how to build better battlecards\, and how to increase the ROI that you get from this valuable tool. \nSwissintell members benefit the SCIP member rate price ! SUMMARY:SCIP - Virtual Rapid Scenario Generation & Ranking
DESCRIPTION:While no one can predict the future\, scenario planning is a highly effective process to create agile and flexible strategies and build resilience in times of disruption. However\, traditional scenario planning is slow\, cumbersome\, and too often focuses on one “ideal” scenario. In contrast\, rapid scenario planning is efficient\, versatile\, and fast-moving\, all of which are critical in times of great uncertainty.  This virtual workshop will give you the tools and best practices to: \n\nQuickly generate alternative scenarios that describe the near future\nDetermine what strategies will work in those scenarios\nIdentify strategic elements that are common across the scenarios\nMap out implementation plans for the strategic actions\nDevelop ongoing intelligence plans to monitor the changing situation\n\nYou will walk away ready to enable your organization to quickly prioritize a “best strategy” and the actions needed to implement the strategy from multiple scenarios. The result is a robust strategy and agile implementation plan that will help your organization thrive in the face of disruption. \nSwissintell members benefit the SCIP member rate price ! SUMMARY:Webinar "How to maximize your competitive advantage using digital"
DESCRIPTION:During this webinar you will learn – how to validate if your digital processes give you an advantage\, and how to maximize it. \nThere’s a popular and dangerous stereotype: “The more insights our business gets from digital channels – the better product will be built. Better products bring us higher market share\, so we obtain even more new data\, and we build even better products. That’s the virtuous circle of data driven competitive advantage.” \nHowever\, in most cases this advantage does not last long. Quite often it either does not guarantee the stickiness of the clients or competitors quickly copy your product.  The good news is that there are still 7 ways to build a sustainable competitive advantage… even despite the risk of being copied. Join our webinar where we take a closer look at these 7 ways.

SUMMARY:Webinar - ABAKUS SIGN & IBM I2 ANALYST NOTEBOOK : INVESTIGATION GRAPHIQUE
\n\n\n\nDate\n  Mercredi 22 avril 2020\n\n\n\nHeure :\n  De 10h00 à 11h00\n\n\n\nLieu :\n  Online : Webex\n\n\n\n\nProgramme\n\n\n\n10:00\n  Introduction\n Gilbert CHOPARD\, Managing Partner\, Satom IT & Learning Solutions\n\n\n10:05\n Demo “Panama Papers”\n Pascal WEBER\, Senior Consultant\, Projet SIGN\n\n\n10:45\n Questions & Réponses\n Tous\n\n\n\n \nNous nous réjouissons de vous présenter ce développement très promettant \nVotre Team Satom IT & Learning Solutions en collaboration avec Swissintell \nShare this:\n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram
