SUMMARY:Cyber-Defence Campus Conference - Cyber Threat & Technology Intelligence
DESCRIPTION:3 novembre 2020 – Cyber Threat & Technology Intelligence\nEvent CYD Campus Threat Intelligence\nDue to the Coronavirus pandemic\, we switched our CYD conferences on November\, 3 – 4 to a hybrid mode\, meaning that participants will also have the option to attend the conferences online at live.stcc.ch \nLes pirates informatique partagent depuis bien longtemps leurs expériences\, leurs outils et les vulnérabilités identifiées ; autant d’éléments ayant contribué à la réussite de cyberattaques majeures.

SUMMARY:CYD Campus Conference on Aviation Cyber Security
DESCRIPTION:As the world of aviation is growing ever more interconnected and digital\, both the civil and the military air traffic infrastructure are becoming a prime target for malicious actors. As a true cyber-physical system\, in which physical and software components are deeply intertwined\, the risks of cyber security incidents that could directly impact the safety of the air traffic system and our society are increasing. Recent investigations by hackers\, researchers\, and flight authorities have cast doubt on earlier assumptions that the prevalent – and thus far highly successful – culture of safety found in aviation is sufficient and appropriate to address the novel challenges posed by cyber threats. In light of the possibility of future cyber-attacks\, which could have a true kinetic impact on the handling of attacked aircraft or drones\, it is crucial to re-examine existing security efforts by the aviation and defense community and combine the viewpoints of various stakeholders including researchers\, industry\, military flight agencies\, civil flight authorities\, airlines\, airports\, manufacturers\, and air traffic control. \nThe Cyber-Defense Campus cordially invites all stakeholders to its inaugural Aviation Cyber Security (AvCS) Conference taking place from 19-20 November 2019 in Zurich. Speakers and technology exhibitors at the AvCS conference are drawn internationally from all areas of industry\, academia\, military\, and government. The discussed topics range from aircraft and air traffic management security\, through governmental and regulatory efforts\, to the improvement of the ongoing collaboration between all involved stakeholders. \nContact for questions: cydcampus@ar.admin.ch \nConference Program: \nTuesday\, 19th November \n08:30        Registration open \n09:00        Welcome & Overview\nDr. Martin Strohmeier\, General chair\nDr. Vincent Lenders\, Head of Cyber-Defence Campus \n09:15        Keynote: Who do you  trust? SUMMARY:Improving Cybersecurity: How Sovereign Can Switzerland Be?
DESCRIPTION:Much of the essential data for a functioning digital society is controlled by a handful of global corporations. The majority of hardware and software for vital and critical systems are also produced by a few international companies. This dependency entails certain risks. The question therefore arises for Switzerland as to how it can increase its digital independence – its cyber sovereignty. \nIn 2017 and 2018\, SATW already held two top-class events on this topic in Berne. Building on this\, SATW and Kickstart are organising an exclusive evening event for decision-makers from administration\, business\, politics and science as part of Kickstart Cybersecurity Week in Zurich. \nLearn from the Federal Delegate for Cyber Security what opportunities he sees for Switzerland in the area of cybersecurity and discuss with experts technological solutions for achieving higher cyber physical sovereignty of Switzerland. Furthermore\, you will learn about the innovations\, with which the six cybersecurity startups qualified for the Kickstart programme plan to conquer the market. SUMMARY:Free and Safe in Cyberspace 6th edition
DESCRIPTION:IT security and banking experts will discuss how we can define new paradigms and build a new international non-governmental standards setting and certification body – and a 1st complaint open ecosystem and target architecture – that can certify end-2-end IT services with radically-unprecedented levels of trustworthiness\, while concurrently ensuring offline legitimate lawful access\, all the way down to extreme CPU design review and fabrication oversight. Initially targeted at the confidentiality and integrity of human communications and financial transactions\, it plans to be extended to other society-critical IT systems\, such 5G networks\, critical AIs\, and large social media. \nAs in previous editions\, we’ll seek for the solution to 4 Challenges that we identified back in 2015 as key to achieve the IT and AI security and privacy that we need as a society\, and to spur great economic opportunities.

SUMMARY:Swiss Cyber Security Days - With Swissintell as associative partners

SUMMARY:JS2018 - Forum Suisse de la confiance numérique

SUMMARY:Zero-Day Conference : Swiss Cybersecurity Strategy for 2019
DESCRIPTION:Improper computer or security configurations and programming errors are causing vulnerabilities that can be exploited by criminals. The “Zero-Day” concept refers to the fact\, that the developers are already aware of the vulnerabilities\, and maybe the attackers as well\, and as a consequence\, they have “zero days” to fix the issues.\nThe Cybersecurity Strategy Conference adopts this concept. We all know\, that we are surrounded by cyber-criminality and we work to combat and mitigate the risk. During this day we will speak about a global cyber-defence strategy\, we will discover new and innovative cybersecurity technologies and solution\, and we will be working with the most recognized field-experts on the Cybersecurity Strategy for 2019.
